Purpose of this site is to be helpful for a careful listening of the works of Wagner.

The most time-consuming section of this site is the Operas section, for which I am creating the midi files of the Leitmotives, and in which I'm inserting the libretti of Richard Wagner's operas in German-English, German-Italian and German only, with links (in the correct position near the text) to the midi files of Leitmotives.

In the section Notes to the Ring by Larry Brown you can find notes to the "Der Ring des Nibelungen"

From the download section you can download midi files and related html pages (except the images of Leitmotives) in compressed files to unzip in a folder in your computer. So you can listen to midi files also when you are not connected to the Internet.
